Cake Zine announces Paris launch event for third issue
Cake Zine volume three is arriving soon and they’re celebrating in style in Paris this July. The poster on Instagram reads, “Magazines! Cocktails! Dessert!” next to a silhouette of a woman holding pie, in a nostalgic style. “Cake Zine is a hedonistic exploration of history, pop culture, literature, and art through sweets,” they write on their website.

In February of this year independent magazine Noble Rot celebrated its tenth anniversary as a magazine. The award-winning restaurant-turn-magazine launched its birthday issue on the 24th with Editor Dan Keeling celebrating its arrival on Instagram.

Cheese magazine releases issue three with sheep cover star
Cheese magazine is an independently made and independently minded publication from the UK, but with global roots. Created by Holly Catford, Anna Sulan Masing, Apoorva Sripathi and Jean-Baptiste Beroud, Cheese aims to “put people and produce at the heart of the stories,” their shop page notes.

Brand new food journal ‘Dulcify’ has placed a call for submissions for their debut issue via Instagram. ‘Dulcify Journal’ aim to focus on telling stories from the community whilst also donating 10% of all sales to ‘Empty Kitchens’, a food charity and kitchen in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Potluck zine cultivates a culture of authenticity in issue 6
Potluck zine is the brainchild of Founder and Editor Rhia Cook. Described as a, “passionate home cook and textile design graduate,” Rhia published Potluck’s first issue back in May 2020, completely on a “whim,” the website adds. Potluck is both a digital and print magazine, focused on cooking, eating and sharing food - but that’s not all.
