NOIA announce issue three release party in Milan

NOIA magazine has announced their official release party, held this May in Milan, Italy. To be held on the 15th May, NOIA will be hosting the party at Lom Dopolavoro, a vibrant bar and restaurant in the heart of the city. Joining NOIA will be a host of DJ’s, as noted on their Instagram, with more details of the specific line-up to come.

Released into stores across the globe in Spring, NOIA’s issue three continues their cultural explorations into visual and conceptual dialogues. Overleaf previously reviewed issue one on the blog here. Art directed by Studio Basic, issue three explores the theme of ‘States’. NOIA write on Instagram, “States have many connotations, from geopolitical boundaries to chemical states. As a society, we have defined the world around us to occupy distinct entities and ideas. Our third issue is an invitation to analyze, critique, and challenge the states of facts and truths that have been demarcated and defended, to reassess and produce new definitions to serve forward into the future. States are constructed of tenuous borders to define ideas and purport control. Artifices presented as logic, defended as truths, manipulated as oppressions. Fluid and influenceable, we can recreate and redefine the state of the world today.”

You’ll be able to dive into the issue with a special Q&A session on the night and drink some “lovely wine selected by our friends at Selvatica.” There will also be some “cool paper goodies” available too, as noted in their post.
