magCulture opens pop-up in Selfridges London
Selfridges’ flagship store in London has opened their doors to independent magazine store magCulture this Spring. A brand new pop-up for the Clerkenwell shop is now open in the store and features 200 titles to choose from.
As posted on Instagram, the shop has officially launched inside the upscale department store in the heart of London’s shopping district. As Selfridges posted: ‘We love magazines! @magculture is now open at Selfridges London. Part of a season of Club Culture at Selfridges, the Clerkenwell shop selected 200 magazines for our space, celebrating the new generation of publishers reinventing the medium. Find magCulture in the Accessories Hall, by the Art Block. Then pick up a coffee at the Duke Street Canopy kiosk.’

Images and videos from the shop show a clean, modern outlet for shoppers to enjoy the many vertical racks of print. Welcomed by black and white mats adorned with the magCulture logo and a lit up logomark nearby, it looks to be a space full of the best titles in print today. Not forgetting that Duke Street curved hub serving coffee outside the entrance. Coffee and magazines are well matched and no doubt the experience is delighting customers day in and day out.
The historic building hosts the magazine retailer until the 7th of June – approximately one month from time of writing. It’s open 10am to 10pm weekdays and Saturday, and 11:30am to 6pm on Sundays.
